The Siemens Medical Solutions USA Service Team Challenge

Siemens manufactures digital imaging devices, such as CRTs, MRIs and Mammography machines.  Since 2000, we've provided over 900 Customer Service Engineers nationwide with an opportunity to learn "how to fix the customer as well as the equipment" at Siemens health care sites.

Each quarter, approximately 60 Area Service Managers (ASMs) gather their direct reports for quarterly update meetings, including taking the Service Team Challenge. Each challenge consists of three different problem scenarios involving either equipment or customer problems, or both.   For each scenario, the area service team members must collaborate to determine the best solution.  We deliver the program via the Internet and on CD-ROM, with an automatic e-mail feature that tabulates and reports the team's the next time the ASM signs on to the Internet.
